Orthodontic treatment isn't what it used to be.......

New techniques and appliances used today greatly reduce any discomfort levels, decrease the frequency of visits and shorten treatment time. Several different options may include metal braces, translucent braces or transparent aligners that can be worn instead of fixed metal appliances (braces).  Please see our Our Services page to see what appliances are offered by Dr. Brady.

Orthodontics is not merely for improving the aesthetics of the smile; orthodontic treatment improves bad bites (maloclusions).  This occurs as a result of tooth or jaw misalignment.  Maloclusions affect the way you smile, chew, clean your teeth or feel about your smile.

According to studies by the American Association of Orthodontists, untreated maloclusions can result in a variety of problems:

*Crowded teeth are more difficult to properly brush and floss, which may contribute to
          tooth decay and/or gum disease.
*Protruding teeth are more susceptible to accidental chipping.
*Crossbites can result in unfavorable growth and uneven tooth wear.
*Openbites can result in tongue-thrusting habits and speech impediments.

Ultimately, orthodontics does more than make a pretty smile--it creates a healthier you.

It's never too late to give you the smile you have always wanted.  Ideally, early evaluations can be very informative in children, as early as 5 years of age, to help determine if treatment is necessary and if so, what treatment will be most effective and how soon to start.

Orthodontic treatment later in life can dramatically improve your personal appearance and self-esteem. Improving the health of your teeth and gums is equally important.

During the complimentary examination, Dr. Brady will determine the best possible treatment for your individual needs. We will outline the treatment plan, the expected length of treatment and the approximate cost.
